FAQs

  • I am currently in network with Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna, Oscar, Oxford, Quest, and United Healthcare. If you don’t see your insurance provider listed here, I’m happy to help get you reimbursed for sessions using your out of network benefits.

  • I partner with a few companies to help make therapy more affordable. Click here to see an estimate of how much you could be reimbursed with Reimbursify.

I also work with Thrizer which allows you to pay only a portion up front for sessions. Click here to see how it works.

  • Individual sessions are $180 for 50 minutes and $90 for 25 minute sessions. Please note that EMDR sessions are best conducted weekly for optimal results. 25 minutes sessions are for established clients who would like a brief check-in in between regular sessions.

  • Great question! It depends on your goals and needs and the way you approach therapy. Typically clients are able to resolve concerns within 3-6 months. Clients who do EMDR tend to see progress much faster since it is a more direct approach. Others enjoy having regular sessions or check-ins as a way to maintain their mental health.

  • I have limited sliding scale spots available. Please schedule a consult for more details.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
